The calculated "Duty Power" result for a pump in FluidFlow is the pump shaft power as opposed to pump hydraulic power. The image below provides an example pump shaft power calculation.
Note, the "Duty Power" is only available as a result when we are modeling a manufacturer's pump and have defined the efficiency curve data in the database. When auto-sizing a pump, there wont be a results for "Duty Power" since we won't have any efficiency curve data available from which to calculate the pump shaft power.
