How can I purchase a FluidFlow license? You can purchase a FluidFlow license directly from the FluidFlow website or via an Authorized reseller
What are the different types of licenses available for FluidFlow? Standalone or Network/Server licensing → Single-user or Multiple user Network licensing → Perpetual license term → Lease licensing (3/12/36 months)
Is there any educational license available for FluidFlow? Yes, FluidFlow offers an educational license for students, teachers, and researchers at a discounted rate. To register, click here
Can I transfer my FluidFlow license to another computer? Yes, it is possible to transfer your FluidFlow license to another computer, whether it is standalone or network licensing. Please refer to the knowledgebase for further information
Does my FluidFlow license include future software updates? Yes, a FluidFlow license typically includes access to future software updates for either 18 months with a perpetual license, or for the term of the lease.
How long does a FluidFlow license last? The duration of a FluidFlow license may vary. We offer both perpetual licenses, which have no expiration date, and term licenses which are valid for a specific period.
How can I renew my FluidFlow license? Check the terms on your quotation. By default, our lease licenses auto-renew each year, with the user being able to cancel up to 60 days before the renewal date. For the perpetual licenses, they are covered in 12-month increments usually
Can I upgrade my FluidFlow license from single-user to multi-user? Yes, you can upgrade a standalone license to a Network license. During the process, you will have to deactivate the standalone license.
Is there any trial version available for FluidFlow before purchasing a license? Yes, you can fill out the form to test the trial on the website.
What happens if my FluidFlow license expires? If your FluidFlow license expires, you will lose access to calculation functionality, but will still be able to edit files.
How many users can access a multi-user FluidFlow license? The number of users that can access is dictated by the number of concurrent licenses purchased. You can have unlimited registered users, but if only 1 license, you can only have 1 user on at a time.
How is the FluidFlow license delivered after purchase? After purchasing, you will receive access details to install and activate your licensing. This can usually be done via email and web access.
What kind of support is available for FluidFlow license holders? FluidFlow offers various levels of support depending on the license type. This can include technical support, software updates, and access to tutorials and guides.
Can I get a refund on my FluidFlow license if I'm not satisfied with the product? We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Is it possible to resell my FluidFlow license? We do allow license transfer from company to company in the instance of a takeover for example. Contact us for details.
Can I install my FluidFlow license on multiple computers? The standalone license can be installed on as many machines as you wish, but the only installation that will work is the one with a key on it.
Are there any discounts available on FluidFlow licenses for non-profit organizations? FluidFlow may offer discounts for non-profit organizations, but it is best to contact their sales team directly to discuss any potential discounts or special pricing.

What kind of training services does FluidFlow offer? We offer three types of training: → free basic on-demand training (for anyone interested in learning more) → live instructor-led online training (recommended for 1-15 attendees, or for companies who prefer to train online) → live on-site training (recommended for 15-24 attendees)
How can I access the free basic on-demand training? The free basic on-demand training is accessible to all users on the FluidFlow website.
Do I need to pay for the live instructor-led online training or the live on-site training? Yes, both the live instructor-led online training and the live on-site training are paid services, unlike the free basic on-demand training.
How can I register for the live instructor-led online training or the live on-site training? You can register for these training sessions via quote acceptance, you need to fill out the form first here, or email us to sales@fluidflowinfo.com
What is the duration of each training session? The duration of each training session varies. Please refer to the specific training details on the FluidFlow website or contact us for more information.
Will I receive a certification or acknowledgment after completing the training? Yes, we provide a certification after training has been completed, and an assessment successfully passed.
What if I miss a session of the live instructor-led online training? We will book you on the next available course. This is subject to the terms and conditions, and a fair notice period. See the full quote for details.
Are there any prerequisites or required knowledge before attending the training sessions? No. The free basic course is recommended to everyone, whether students, graduates, people who need a refresher or experienced engineers new to the product. We do recommend any attendees for Advanced training complete the Free Basic Training first.
If we have 1 network license for Liquid + Gas, how many people can access at the same time? This is a special case, 1 person can access Liquid and 1 person can access Gas at the same time
Can I purchase Slurry on its own without Liquid? No, you need Liquid in order to be able to do Slurry & non-Newtonian analysis
Can I purchase Two-Phase on its own? No, you need Liquid + Gas in order to be able to perform Liquid-Gas Two-Phase analysis
Is Heat Transfer included? Yes, this is included as standard
Is Automatic Equipment Sizing to standards charged as an extra? No! We include smart system sizing to standards (automatically) as standard in our solution. Some competitors charge for this functionality
Do I have to pay extra for fluid data or Equipment manufacturers data in the software? No! This is included as standard >1280 fluids, which are automatically detected based on the operating conditions of your system
Do I need to change modules in order to analyze Liquid or Gas flow No! If we use water as an example, at 20°C FluidFlow automatically detects it is in the Liquid phase. If that same fluid (in this case water) is at 190°C FluidFlow automatically detects it is in the Gas-phase.
