WASC Slurry Pressure Loss Correlation

In general, the WASC correlation is the only method which considers vertical pipes, i.e. different equations are used for pipe inclinations above 30 degrees. Above 80 degrees, the solution assumes a vertical pipe.

The WASC method uses only the d50 and d85 values. The WASC method can tend to overestimate pressure loss in slurry systems with a large component of sub 200 micron particles.
