This video shows a heterogeneous settling slurry (mica solids & water as the carrier fluid). It is solved using the four-component pressure loss model and analyzed based on correlations for pressure loss and deposition velocity. Viewers can switch between different correlations by refreshing the results using drop-down menus on the non-Newtonian and slurry tabs. Five pressure loss correlations and three deposition velocity correlations are currently available, with a fourth expected in the next release.
