Network Build Error

A "Network Build Error" usually indicates the following:

1. There is an issue with the model connectivity. Occasionally, the nodes are not connected to the main model or overlap one another giving the impression that the model has been built and connected correctly. Have a quick look at the warning messages and the nodes in the model to ensure they are connected together as intended.

2. A "Network Build Error" can be a sign that some data in the model has become corrupt. A quick step in an attempt to resolve this issue is to copy the model to a new clean Flowsheet to re-initialize the properties for all nodes in the model.

To do this, take the following steps:

1. Select: Edit | Select  | Select All. The entire model will be highlighted on your Flowsheet. Take note of the Zoom settings, i.e. 35%, 50% etc.

2. Select the COPY button.

3.Create a new Flowsheet by selecting: File | New.

4. Ensure the Zoom settings of your new Flowsheet match that of the Flowsheet from where you copied the model, i.e. 35%, 50% etc.

5. Select the PASTE button and paste your model to your new flowsheet.

6. Select the CALCULATE button to refresh results. Check the MESSAGES tab of the Data Palette for any warnings and resolve any fundamental warnings.
