The software includes a database of valves including gate, globe, butterfly and ball valves. When adding a new valve to the database, you have the option of defining a single K, Kv, Cv or Kf value for a valve or define a curve relationship of % open vs K, Kv, Cv or Kf.
The image below provides a snapshot of an example valve for your information. If the valve you are looking is not in the database, it can easily be added.
