The labyrinth seal element within FluidFlow is a custom element, designed for the specific case of compressor oil seals for one of our customers. The relationships used are proprietary and probably not generic. The methods used were in part, supplied by a client for a specific purpose and as such have limited applicability. Our suggestion would be to model the labyrinth seal as a General Resistance K value and you could determine the K value from relevant charts, published literature etc.
