If you are modeling a pipeline and you wish to use a Known Pressure Boundary node at the pipe outlet but also wish to include a pipe exit loss, the approach to take here is to insert a K (General Resistance) near the end of the line and set the K value to 1.0 (for an exit loss) as shown below. This will require a short pipe section at the end of the model. You can set the length of this pipe to be quite short.
This approach can also be used when discharging into a pressurised vessel and the vessel pressure can be entered for the outlet boundary of the pipeline.
