Connecting Pipes

This video shows how to connect pipes on the flowsheet by selecting a pipe material, then using click-drag-click to create standalone pipes, connect components, or branch into existing pipes. FluidFlow automatically inserts the correct junction (bend, tee, or cross). It includes key rules to prevent invalid connections, such as pipes needing to connect to two nodes (no unterminated pipes). Junctions automatically adjust to up to four connections, and invalid connections are prevented (e.g., no third connection to a pump, no fifth connection to a cross).
