Explore three ways to place components on the flowsheet: (1) select from the Component Palette (choose a group tab, then the component) and click to drop it—your cursor stays “live” so you can place multiple of the same item quickly; (2) replace an existing item via right-click Change Component; (3) or insert a component into an existing pipe by hovering until the cursor becomes a split icon, then placing it.
